The Role

Broadspectrum is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Administrator. The positions will see you based at Bandiana Military Base, in a permanent full-time position within our Defence Base Services contract. The role is predominately administration based however stores work will be required from time to time. Your strong administration background and outstanding customer service skills will enable your success in this position. 

 

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Database & inventory management using SAP-based MILIS (Military Integrated Logistics Information System) system.
• High volume, repetitive data entry for stock takes, entering received delivery slips, requisitions and invoices.
• Conduct stores tasks, including account management and stock takes
• Assist in the unloading of goods and checking them against order forms
• Managing tools and equipment within the Supply Customer Account/s on the Commonwealth Mandated Information System
• Manage stores function in accordance with Defence Electronic Supply Chain Manual, including scheduling

 

Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years previous experience as a Data Entry / Administration role, ideally within a Stores / Warehousing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with stores/warehousing accounting or commercial equivalent
• Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft, MILIS and Defence Systems is highly desirable
• You must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Negative Vetting Level 1. As a result of this requirement, to be successful you must be an Australian Citizen.
