The Behavioural Economics Team of the Australian Government (or BETA) applies research and methods from psychology and behavioural economics to deliver better outcomes for Australians. We seek to understand how people make decisions, develop innovative ideas for solving problems, and test what works best in the real world. We have delivered more than 70 projects on issues covering heath, education, financial decision-making, energy, cyber security and more. We know diverse teams produce the best and most creative work.
