About You
As a senior member of the Global Marketing & Regional Hubs team, you will be responsible for leading and managing RMIT's content agenda across all audiences to drive a consistent, engaging and seamless experience.
You will be responsible for the development of range of content assets to drive brand awareness and reputation, acquisition of new customers and deliver targeted, personalised content leveraging analytics and insights. You will oversee a dedicated services team to support internal stakeholders with their creative needs.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
* Demonstrated experience in senior content management positions (preferably in large organisations) and including accountability for the development and implementation of content strategy.
* Proven experience leading and managing teams in marketing, content or communication functions.
* Experience in working with new media and digital channels including, owned, earned, social and paid to deliver engaging and integrated content strategies.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver business outcomes, including strong commercial acumen, customer acquisition and deep audience engagement.
* Proven experience leveraging data and insights to inform the creation of content and deliver targeted messages throughout the customer journey.
* Proven ability to work autonomously, and to work collaboratively with team members across various functions and senior stakeholders.
* Exceptional organisation, planning and operational management skills.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills – able to communicate and collaborate easily with colleagues, Colleges, Portfolio and external agencies.

About the Portfolio
The newly formed Experience Organisation in RMIT, part of the Operations portfolio, is established to create great experiences and journeys for our Students, Researchers and Industry Partners. A key component of these journeys and experiences is delivered via our digital platforms. The digital experiences however need to seamlessly integrate with on campus or staff assisted activities of our Students, Researchers and Industry Partners.
Digital enablement and digital transformation are of increasing importance to the research, teaching and learning life of a university, particularly a 'global university of technology and design' like RMIT. Best in breed digital capabilities were established as part of the RMIT 2020 strategy. Within the context of the new 5-year strategic plans, these digital capabilities need further maturing to support:
1 Best in class digital student experience – transform the student experience and underpin the digital strategy.
