ASSISTANT LECTURER – PUBLIC INTEREST LAW INITIATIVE (PILI)

Salary:  $69,148 – $93,830 p.a.

We are seeking someone with a passion for teaching and commitment to public interest legal practice.

This is a full time fixed term position until January 2019 reporting to the Director of the Public Interest Law Initiative.  PILI coordinates and oversees Melbourne Law School’s clinical legal education program. The successful applicant will play a key role supporting the work of PILI, including coordinating the JD legal internship program, teaching the subject Street Law, and other teaching and subject coordination as required. The role will also involve assisting with the administration of the clinical subjects, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders and assisting with public interest events and communications.
