Broadspectrum are seeking expressions of interest from experienced and qualified Capenter to deliver services throughout South Australia on our long term Defence Base Services contract.
This position will see you based at the Woomera Defence Precinct, in an ongoing, full time position within the Estate Upkeep team
We are seeking Trade Qualified Carpenters with experience in maintenance and joinery to undertake a range of maintenance activities including preventative maintenance and planned works. Further you will:
- Conduct maintenance tasks and repair work on buildings
- Complete work orders and verify tasks in accordance with defence requirements
- Entry of work orders into the defence MILIS system
- Report and qualify detected equipment faults to supervisors
- Responsible for costing of small works
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with job timing, work scheduling, work instructions and job plans in conjunction with technical services.
Skills and Experience
- Trade Certificate in Carpentry
- Hold a Valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Be experienced within facilities and commercial maintenance
- You must be able to obtain an ADF Clearance
