Ngaanyatjarra Council Aboriginal Corporation (NCAC) was incorporated in 1981 with the aim of supporting the development of all Ngaanyatjarra people. At the core of this work was assisting the Ngaanyatjarra Communities to be strong and sustainable with reliable essential services, air transport, bookkeeping, agency and road transport, fuel distribution, health services, community services and improved housing.

About the Opportunities
Ngaanyatjarra Council has multiple exciting opportunities for Community Development Program (CDP) Engagement Officers to join their team, working in communities on the Ngaanyatjarra Lands, WA. NCAC is open to applications from both single candidates and couples.

Reporting to the General Manager, these roles will be focused on providing quality Case Management and community engagement activities or programs. These roles will vary depending on the needs of each community, with some requiring a larger focus on case management and others focused more on providing hands-on community support, including general maintenance or participation in arts and culture activities.

In general, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Developing job plans according to Job Seekers' goals and personal barriers;
* Working with the community to identify, set up, and run Work for the Dole (WfD) activities;
* Contributing to the development of work skills and work habits of CDP participants through mentoring, training and support;
* Identifying opportunities to incorporate language, literacy and numeracy training for CDP participants into CDP activities;
* Developing and implementing project activity plans, budgets and risk assessments for WfD activities; and
* Ensuring accurate, appropriate and timely recording of attendance or non-attendance at appointments in the relevant IT system.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with a generous base salary circa $76,681.29 plus 9.5% super, commensurate with your skills and experience.
