Salary: $99,199 – $107,370 p.a. plus 9.5% superannuation

The ARC-Industrial Transformation Training Centre for Personalised Therapeutics Technologies (“CPTT”) will run over five years with the objective of training the next generation of biomedical researchers, and aims to create and develop in Australia the skills and technology to enable early benefit from the transformative impacts that cell/organ-on-a chip technology will have on the medtech/pharma industries.

The Centre Manager represents a key position within CPTT critical to the Centre delivering on its objectives.  Working in close partnership with the Director, Prof Alastair Stewart and senior academics, technical and administrative representatives from domestic and international partner organisations, the Centre Manager will oversee all day to day operations of the Training Centre. The position exercises a high degree of delegated responsibility and autonomy. Considerable initiative, excellent negotiation skills and sound judgement are all essential attributes.

The role reports to the Director and is part of the Senior Management group. The position will also interact with CPTT Industry Advisory Board through reporting and attendance at Board meetings and Board sub-committee meetings.  The role works closely with staff of the School, Faculty and University. The role will also interact closely with the partner and Government organisations, including Medtech and Pharma Growth Centre (“MTPConnect”).  The position will also play a key role in ensuring the Centre meets its reporting obligations against key performance indicators.
