FORWARD – The Centre for Future Skills & Workforce Transformation

FORWARD, The Centre for Future Skills and Workforce Transformation is a new venture supported by the Victorian Government's Higher Education State Investment Fund and RMIT's College of Vocational Education. It works with partners across RMIT's ecosystem of colleges and schools and with external workforce partners on innovative workforce upskilling and reskilling projects.

About You

As a Development Partner, you will work with the director of FORWARD to help deliver a vision of workforce development, upskilling, re-skilling and research collaboration at the worker, employer and industry sector levels.

Working as part of a highly engaged agile team, these roles will involve working with RMIT's knowledge and skills ecosystem and with external stakeholders, including employers and government.

FORWARD values outcomes over rigid ways of working and our Development Partners will be expected to negotiate their portfolio of activities, working flexibly and with purpose in an Agile delivery framework that prioritises early and consistent delivery of value, creativity, authentic collaboration and accountability.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

* A background in project management, commercial research, workforce development, learning and development, human resources or technology and strategy.

* Demonstrated ability to understand complex problems, work flexibly and maintain intellectual curiosity for new ideas and approaches.

* Demonstrated high level of computer literacy, experience of Agile principles, and skills in the use of, or ability to understand quickly, modern team communication tools like Slack and Discord, and design tools like Figma.

* Highly developed organizational and analytical skills and a proven ability to work independently in a highly collaborative team environment.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) with capacity to liaise with a variety of stakeholders

* A proven ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
