About You
Based within the Sport & Fitness team, you will be an excellent digital communicator responsible for shaping and delivering the social media and digital engagement strategy for Sport & Fitness, further strengthening our online communities and identifying opportunities to create new ones. As a confident writer, editor and digital media expert, you will manage the Sport & Fitness digital channels. You will identify and exploit emerging digital technologies and generate new and engaging content appropriate to the University's broad audiences. You will also support the operations of the various Sport and Fitness programs including esports and games.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
* Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage online audiences via communications and marketing campaigns.
* Experience in d
igit
al planning, delivery of engaging content and measurement that contributes to organisational objectives.
* Understanding of new media and digital technology to improve outcomes.
* Understanding of how to work with data and stakeholders to identify emerging and unmet needs and to develop solutions to meet those needs.
* Adobe Suite skills would be advantageous.
