We are seeking two experienced, safety minded Driver/Asphalters to join our vibrant team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the Asphalt Work and all other associated Road Maintenance tasks as per the Unit’s Service Plans. While this position will be primarily responsible for Asphalt and paving works, the incumbent will also be required to perform other road maintenance tasks as required.

 

The successful applicant will possess:

 

• Minimum two years’ experience in Asphalt roadway repairs and associated road maintenance works including setting out for works and operating equipment relevant to the role.

• Current and continuing to hold a Licence too safely and competently operate a Heavy Rigid vehicle.

• Knowledge in the selection and use of plant and materials for asphalt road and footpath repairs plus other road maintenance works.

• Demonstrated ability to equitably and effectively work with staff with diversity of ethnicity, gender, abilities and skills.
