Emergency Services Project Officer

* Based in North Melbourne
* Part-time position – 3 days per week
* Temporary contract until 31 October 2018

The role
The Project Officer Community Engagement, works within the Victorian Emergency Services branch of the Australian Red Cross. In this exciting role you will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including our own volunteer workforce and Emergency Management Planning Committees at local and regional levels. You will ensure that Red Cross continues to be a key partner in the planning and policy development in delivering emergency services throughout Victoria.

 About you
You are passionate about developing strong, trusted relationships to support local and regional emergency planning arrangements, before, during and after an emergency. You are enthusiastic, have a keen eye for detail, have excellent time management skills, and highly developed oral and written communication skills. Your application will demonstrate your previous experience, or qualifications, in community development or emergency services. Ideally you will have an interest in Emergency Management and community engagement.
