ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a readvertised role (previous reference 00008K1E).

 

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused candidate to coordinate and monitor the delivery of property, facility and fleet services for Legal Aid NSW. The role is part of a team of facilities professionals and is responsible for organising preventative and proactive repairs and maintenance; cleaning; relocations; security and emergency systems; fleet vehicle leasing and servicing; parking; energy usage; and WHS compliance.

 

The role involves working on a roster from 8.30am to 5.00pm, occasional contractor supervision over weekends and/or from 6.00am and some physical work such as moving equipment and assessing tenancy issues. It also involves collecting and delivering motor vehicles, as required.
 

ABOUT YOU

 

The successful applicant will have:

  • Highly developed organisation skills and proven experience in facilities management and property services;
  • Experience in fleet management or ability and willingness to learn aspects such as motor vehicle leasing, maintenance/repairs, allocation and turnover;
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (verbal and written) with experience in managing customer requests and co-ordinating service contractors to deliver agreed outcomes within tight deadlines;
  • Experience in implementing compliance practices and procedures across different facilities functions including property, security and emergency management, and fleet;
  • Commitment to working as part of a team to support each other in the delivery of customer-focused services.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

 

• Willingness to undertake a Criminal Record Check and/or working with Children Check

• Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, or be an Australian Permanent Resident

• Current NSW Driver’s Licence

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement

The selection process will include a range of comparative assessment techniques to assist in determining capability and suitability for the role.
