Men’s Outreach Service, established in 2001, provides social and community support programs to men & their families in the Kimberley.

About The Role:

Mens Outreach Service are implementing a new culturally secure and trauma informed family violence program in Broome and the Kimberley.  The “Change ‘Em Ways” program assists in reducing Family Violence and improving social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal people and their communities. 

You will wmanage the womens component of the program, including preparation of modules and delivery of facilitated workshops using culturaly appropriate methods. The program is an intensive workshop processwith lengthy follow on, engaging with men (and when possible, their partners) on behaviour change. 

This role is Part time (0.8FTE), Fixed Term until Jun 2019 with the possibility of extension.  The ​Package includes a base salary range of $67,600 – $71,900 p/a pro rata depending on skills and experience.  Other Benefits include a Remote Allowance, Annual Airfare allowance and Super.  Total Package amounts to approx $90,000 – $100,000 p/a pro rata.
