About You
Reporting to the Team Lead, Finance Connect, you will be responsible for providing direct end-user support and the highest level of customer service in response to requests and inquiries in the use of Finance's ERP.
You will use sound judgment and knowledge of the Finance & Governance service offerings, RMIT policies and procedures to deliver exceptional customer service and minimise risk. As you are the conduit between Finance & Governance and RMIT customers and suppliers, your empathy, eye for detail and responsiveness to customer needs will be key to your success in this role.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
* A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in a financial services role in a large, complex organisation.
* Proven ability to take ownership and be proactive when dealing with user issues to provider responsive, quality and timely customer service.
* Working knowledge and understanding of financial services theory and practice, principles, policies and procedures or demonstrated help desk experience utilising financial services technological solutions, preferably Workday or other ERP systems in a large organisation.
* Demonstrated experience making effective and timely decisions by applying problem-solving, analytical skills and exception attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills (both written and verbal) and organisational skills to work independently and as part of a team.
* Professional agility and ability to handle multiple priorities with an appropriate sense of urgency.
* Excellent customer engagement skills and ability to understand business operations quickly; conflict resolution experience will be an added advantage.
