About You
The HDR Partnerships and Engagement Officer is part of the Strategy and Policy team in the School of Graduate Research. This role supports end-user (industry) engagement and global partnerships including industry-based projects, internships, cotutelle and collaborative PhD agreements. The incumbent will contribute to a large, cross-portfolio project focussing on improving processes and expanding engagement opportunities for candidates. Other responsibilities range from responding to queries and providing advice to developing web content and managing records.
To be successful in this position, you'll have as a minimum:
– Relevant professional experience within the University sector and/or a large, complex organisation, with the demonstrated ability to work well in ambiguous or fluid environments.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills including a strong capability in producing high-quality documentation, such as reports and web content, to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders.
– Strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to assess priorities and work through multiple tasks simultaneously and under pressure.
– Demonstrated strengths in building relationships and negotiating, with the ability to work effectively across multiple levels and functions, and with external parties.
– Ability to work independently, as a member of a team and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to help achieve the strategic objectives and promote the values of RMIT University.
– Demonstrated attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed to a very high standard.
– Demonstrated history of behaviour aligned to the RMIT values and professional capability framework.
