Broadspectrum has been successful in securing the National Clothing Store Services Contract (NCSS) for the ADF over the next 5 years with potential for extensions beyond that tenure, so it would be a great time to join the team. Clothing Stores are primary logistic functions characterised by the process of Sales and Issue of Clothing and Personal Equipment (C&PE); Medal Mounting; Tailoring and Operational Kitting skills. Internal movement of Freight is also involved. These services are provided to Defence individuals and Defence elements.
The Role
Broadspectrum are currently looking to engage a Store Attendant for the NCSS contract to assist with the daily operational functions of the Enoggera Barracks & RAAF Base Amberley stores.
The Stores Attendant is responsible for:
- Providing customer service and delivery of uniforms to Defence Personnel
- Monitoring stock using a computer based system (MILIS) and managing in’s and out’s as appropriate including returns and stock tracking
- All elements of the NCSS contract within the base are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements and appropriate Defence and Broadspectrum services policy.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Experience in a logistics, customer service (Retail) or warehousing environment
- Experience within Defence sector (highly regarded)
- Demonstrated customer service, impeccable communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a team
- Demonstrated written communication and IT skills
- An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
- Drivers licence and vehicle preferable
You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Department of Defence Security Clearance to Apply. As such as part of your application you will be required to complete a National Police check and Pre Employment Medical including a drug and alcohol screen
