The Workplace Gender Equality Agency is the Australian Government's key agency charged with supporting and improving gender equality in Australian workplaces.
Reporting to the Executive Manager Operations this role is responsible for providing high level support to WGEA's technology based projects and has overall responsibility for day to day maintenance, trouble shooting and monitoring of the Agency's information technology systems.
We need an IT all-rounder who is effective in representing the Agency at meetings and on working groups and comfortable liaising with our internal and external stakeholders including our third party service providers.
During the next 12 months the Agency will be implementing a Digital Roadmap including establishing new website functionality. This role will be a crucial part of that process.
Annually over 5000 organisations report online to the Agency and the IT Services Coordinator role is vital in providing technical support and issues management together with the coordination of the testing program for system enhancements.
The key capabilities for success include the ability to provide advice and support across a broad range of information technology systems, working proactively and collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure innovative and quality outcomes for all facets of the Agency's digital presence and service delivery.
Our ideal candidate will have proven track record in successfully organising, maintaining, monitoring and reviewing business application support services to staff, resolving IT service issues, utilising software in the maintenance and updating of web pages and experience in project support, including planning, scheduling and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills involving complex information and the ability to communicate information clearly is required along with effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work pro-actively in a team environment.
Baseline Security clearance or the ability to obtain clearance required.
