Let's Count Coordinator

Sydney, NEW South Wales The Smith Family

  • Pivotal role in the coordination and delivery of one of our key programs
  • Make a genuine difference to the lives of some of Australia’s most disadvantaged kids and their families

The Let’s Count program is an Early Years mathematics program aimed at children aged 3-5 utilising a range of tools to improve their numeracy skills. The Let’s Count Coordinator is vital in the successful implementation and quality delivery of the Let’s Count program within WA. Your role will be varied and very busy, but incredibly rewarding as you provide ongoing direct support to Let’s Count Facilitators, Program Partners and their trained Educators. This role will also provide guidance to the Learning for Life team for successful delivery and operates as a ‘Subject Matter Expert’ within Western Australia.

A day in the life of a Let’s Count Coordinator might look like this, but really every day will be different:
  • Ensuring community based teams have the tools, resources, communication and support required to source and partner with appropriate Early Childhood Centres
  • Engaging and partnering with early childhood education services to extend the reach of Let’s Count
  • Coordinating delivery of Let’s Count either personally or through the allocation of contracted Let’s Count facilitators
  • Contributing to the ongoing continuous improvement cycle of the program, including review and feedback on existing resources and processes
  • Developing and maintaining strong external relationships with Early Years professionals/centres involved in the delivery of Let’s Count, as well as other key external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the Let’s Count program
  • Ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our database to support other local teams
