About You
As the Manager, Academic Quality and Compliance, you will lead a team of Quality Leads and manage the day-to-day academic quality and compliance activities for the College of Vocational Education (CoVE) ensuring regulatory compliance and appropriate governance is applied across the College. You will work across all industry clusters and provide a whole of College view as to how quality and compliance matters are managed.
This role serves as the primary point of contact for the CoVE teaching community when seeking advice on academic quality and compliance.
The role is required to identify and respond to quality improvement opportunities in learning and teaching, developing systemic solutions and supporting teaching teams to implement improvements in practice.The role will also work with the Learning Experience team and other support teams within CoVE to drive quality and ensure compliance.
To be successful in this position, you will have strong project management and leadership skills as well as deep knowledge of VE compliance requirments to identify and drive improvements in academic quality.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
* Experience managing learning and teaching quality processes within VE contexts including, audits, risk identification and management, and external compliance requirements, AQF, AQTF, ASQA, VRQA, ESOS and HESG.
* Demonstrated experience leading specialist teams in planning and implementing academic quality improvements through influence and collaboration.
* Ability to coordinate and implement projects in education settings, utilising effective management principles of planning, resource allocation, communication, teamwork, evaluation and reporting.
* Capability to forge collaborative relationships across organisational boundaries and to connect and work with diverse teaching and professional staff to maintain positive, productive relationships that influence improvements in learning and teaching quality.
