About You

As Manager, Planning and Operations of the School of Management within the College of Business & Law, you will be responsible for providing high level support and advice to the Dean of School. Through effective planning and management of resources and operations in the School, and by giving effect to College and School strategic objectives, you will make a significant contribution to the strategi

c management and direction of the School and College.

You will lead and manage the School's administrative activities relating to operational, financial, human resource/staffing and profile planning, performance, monitoring and reporting, and lead cultural and work practice changes required to support School and College strategic direction.

Additionally, you will work with the General Manager, College Operations, in the provision of College-wide leadership and will work closely with those responsible for the delivery of College-wide services to ensure that they are comprehensive, appropriate and responsive.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

* Demonstrated experience and expertise in the management and delivery of services within a complex organisation, preferably in the tertiary education sector.
* Demonstrated expertise in the areas of change management and project delivery.

* Demonstrated experience in the development, interpretation and im
pl
ementation of policies and procedures.
* Proven budget and financial management, planning and business development skills.
* Demonstrated high level problem solving and analytical ability to identify improvement opportunities.
* High level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, direct and influence others, including a proven capacity to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external groups.
* Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team to achieve identified goals.

* Demonstrate high level computer skills to support accountabilities of the position.
* Demonstrated experience with IT systems including Workday and PowerBi, desirable.
