The Role: Principal Mining Engineer, Technical Services (Gunnedah, NSW)

An opportunity exists for an experienced Principal Mining Engineer to join our Technical Services team based in Gunnedah. You will be accountable for providing mine engineering support and guidance to existing operations and new projects to enable the business to achieve and maintain safe, sustainable and productive operations.

Reporting to the General Manager Technical Services, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining medium and Life of Mine plans, optimising the value of Whitehaven’s existing and future assets, providing mine engineering support to current and new projects and managing the annual JORC process.
