RMIT Activator is the centre of innovation and Entrepreneurial gravity at RMIT, leveraging the incredible assets of the premier University of design, technology and enterprise to create enduring impact.

Things move quickly at Activator, we have a big vision and goals which keep us all united in purpose, but how we get there is open to rapid change and experimentation.The Education Product Designer and Innovation Facilitator role is responsible for designing, continually improving and faciliating the delivery of a range of educational offerings in the context of innovation and entrepreneurial skills. These experiences will be for various learner segments including corporate and industry clients, partners, start-ups, and differrnt audinces within RMIT. The right person for this role will continually strive to deliver valuable and engaging learning and work experiences, delivered using collaborative, lean and iterative product management approaches, emphasising quality of experience and learning outcomes. In addition, the Education Product Designer and Innovation Facilitator needs to be adapt at stakehodl
er management and passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation and future-ready skills .
The right Education Product Designer and Innovation Facilitator brings together the skills and experience including:
* Ability to dynamically facilitate experiences, lead groups and manage learning environments.
* Ability to utilise lean and iterative product development principles to develop and maintain effective customer-centric service-based offerings.
* Extensive experience in design, delivery, refinement and evaluation of adult educational products and the development of active, flexible, practice-based, and experiential learning.
* Demonstrated experience in working with senior industry leaders' to design, develop and deliver learning experiences.
* Ability to work closely with subject matter experts to co create learning content and experiences to enable evidence-based outcomes
* Demonstrated ability to act as an advisor and negotiate with and influence stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in managing complex and/or externally funded projects, ensuring educational programs are delivered on time and budget.
* Proven ability to deliver on multiple projects, work independently and in a team whilst managing competing workflows and deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated experience and competence in either emerging tech, start-ups, research commercialisation, human-centred design or systems thinking.
* Strong personal initiative and accountability.
* Possession of a learning mindset that is continually open to feedback, iteration, and improvement.
* A willingness and proven ability to think entrepreneurially.

About the Portfolio
The Policy and Impact Portfolio provides focus and momentum for the projects and priorities that were identified in Ready for Life and Work: RMIT's Strategic Plan to 2020.We have provided support for the implementation of the RMIT Strategy with a particular focus on public policy and government engagement, innovative practice in organisational capability development, and the development of new collaborations and partnerships. The Policy and Impact Team has been a focal point for the development of the Melbourne Innovation Districts partnership between the City of Melbourne, The University of Melbourne and RMIT which focuses on urban innovation for the future of Melbourne. The Policy and Impact Portfolio members provide a distinctive set of evidence-driven, analytical, and public policy expertise, including policy and data analysis, government engagement and capability in areas such as: strategic development, innovation, partnership development across government, industry and
social sector, project management capabilities. The Policy and Impact Team is available to provide advice and assist the University as it seeks to engage with strategic projects and public policy issues that are aligned with the goals set out in the Ready for Life and Work Strategic Plan to 2020
