About the Role
A Project Manager is required to join the Trajectories and Predictors in the Clinical High Risk for Psychosis Population: Prediction Scientific Global Consortium (PRESCIENT). PRESCIENT is a NIMH-funded international, observational study aimed at the development of predictive modelling of outcome trajectories in young people at ultra-high risk (UHR) for psychosis 12-30 years.
This position is preferably full-time but 0.8 would be considered for the successful candidate (0.8-1.0 FTE).
The Project Manager will work closely with the Principal Investigator and study team to co-ordinate all aspects of the study, including:
- training and supervising study staff,
- managing logistics and implementing study procedures,
- ensuring compliance with the study protocol,
- preparing HREC submissions,
- completing reports as per NIMH requirements,
- liaising with a range of stakeholders including international collaborators and recruitment sites,
- assist with data collection, analysis, and the drafting of manuscripts and grant applications.
About You
Essential to this role is that you have experience in the coordination of clinical research studies in a health discipline, tertiary education or public or private hospital sectors. In addition, you will bring:
- A degree qualification in psychology, neuroscience, biomedical sciences or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in managing research projects, and in supervising junior research staff.
- Demonstrated experience in financial tracking of research operations for the actual conduct of clinical studies on a day-to-day basis.
- Experience in the use of Case Report Forms, source data verification and protocol compliance monitoring.
- Sound working knowledge of the National Statement for Ethical Conduct in Human Research, Good Clinical Practice and other national regulatory requirements for clinical research.
