Recreation Officers
· $65,716 p.a. plus superannuation

· 1 x Permanent full time position at Ultimo Community Centre
· 1 x Full time term contract up to 17 May 2018 at Redfern Community Centre
The City of Sydney, one of Australia’s premier Councils has three exciting opportunities available for skilled and motivated Recreation Officers to work as part of our friendly City Spaces Team.

Working in the City Spaces team you will be responsible for the coordination and development of health and wellbeing activities, social and community programs, services and events. Our centres are vibrant multipurpose, intergenerational community facilities which plays an important part in community life in the city.
To be successful in this role you must have:
· experience in a wide range of administrative and financial duties commensurate to the operation of community, leisure and recreation centres
· experience in the planning, co-ordination and the delivery of community, recreation and leisure services and programs to a diverse client base
· ability to apply a community development framework that seeks to plan and deliver programs in partnership with community stakeholders and address the community’s needs.
You will also be able to demonstrate that you can provide high-quality customer service, work autonomously and successfully manage a wide scope of work priorities.
