About You
As our Senior Advisor, Business Analyst, you are excited to help Students group analyse and improve service delivery and use of business applications whilst providing strategic support and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

You are comfortable presenting to, leading and influencing staff and business units to reach strategic outcomes and customer expectations, delivering high-quality outcomes for Students group with a commitment to a high level of engagement with our various stakeholder groups.

You thrive in situations where you get to weave a narrative, utilising the deep technical application knowledge of the team to augment best practice research from both within and external to the tertiary education sector to propose solutions that deliver the best experience for our stakeholders.

Working in a high-performing team, your "can-do, team player attitude" and excellent communication skills are critical to succeeding in this role.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

* A degree OR a postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline and/or significant relevant professional experience at a similar level
* Proven initiative and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to quickly extract priority issues and, where appropriate, act without specific direction
* Ability to understand and convey complex information, positively interact, negotiate with, influence and build consensus with a wide range of internal and external business stakeholders, including vendors, internal IT teams and senior members of management
* Forward-looking, balanced, and sustainable in their approach to managing demands and resourcing and can adapt quickly and effectively to new pressures and opportunities, including adapting to changing software, digital technology, and service delivery requirements
* Experience with managing data and information, business system support, reviewing processes and business requirement gathering techniques.
