ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Finance Partner, Performance and Reporting provides high quality financial and budget analysis, financial reporting, forecasting and the development, and maintenance of financial modelling. This financial and operational insight will assist stakeholders in making informed business decisions. 

ABOUT YOU

 

Some of the fundamental skills and experience you will require to be successful in this role are:

 

• Senior financial management experience with a proven record of achievement

 

• Solid analytical and reporting skills

 

• Proven ability in building and developing financial models to identify trends and issues affecting financial performance.

 

• Demonstrated experience in the establishment and ongoing review of rolling forecasts at the macro and micro levels.

 

• Demonstrated ability to interpreting multi layered and complex data.

 

• Solid interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills which helps build and maintain stakeholder relationships.      

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

 

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting or equivalent and extensive relevant experience

 

• Advanced knowledge and skills in financial modelling and financial management systems

 

• Willingness to undertake a Criminal Record Check and/or working with Children Check

 

• Hold Australian or NZ citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency

1. Describe a time when you had to implement a forecasting model and/or communicate a forecasting report you developed.  Your response should cover the approach taken, factors consider and the feedback received.

 

2. Provide an example of when you used financial information and/or other program relevant information to support or drive an organizational decision.  What challenges did you face and how did you handle them?

The selection process will include a range of comparative assessment techniques to assist in determining capability and suitability for the role.

This recruitment will be used to fill any current vacancies and may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future vacancies that may arise over the next 18 months.
