This role supports the Chief Finance Officer in the discharge of the financial functions of IBA and its subsidiaries and associates. It is also responsible for budgeting and all external reporting. The role will work closely with the CFO, program/branch managers and the Executive. It also interacts with government regulatory and policy authorities.
The successful applicant for this role will play a key part in:
- Preparing consolidated financial statements and ensuring their accuracy
- Ensuring that all financial compliance requirements are satisfied
- Developing and implementing improved policies, procedures and reporting in the branch.
The position would ideally suit someone who has:
– Both government and private sector accounting experience
– Appropriate tertiary qualifications and a high degree of computer literacy preferably with experience with Infinite One
– Strong influencing, communication, analytical and leadership skills.
