As the Senior Program Coordinator at the Child and Parent Centre, under guidance from the Child and Parent Centre Manager, your role will be responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the centre, including, planning, sourcing agencies to deliver workshops, scheduling, implementation and evaluation.
A day in the life of a Senior Program Coordinator might look like this, but every day will be different:
- Coordinate, under guidance from Child and Parent Centre Manager, the ongoing development and implementation of the Strategic Framework including planning, delivery and evaluation of relevant project community activities as detailed in same.
- Develop, implement and evaluate strategies to engage and encourage community participation in the Child and Parent Centre initiative, including early identification of vulnerable families.
- Identify and coordinate a strategic team approach to increase and maintain parental engagement in their child’s health, wellbeing and education.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive place for families and children; facilitate connection between families and linkage with community and services.
- Build on collaborative opportunities and partnerships, assist in the ongoing identification of existing agencies, community groups and businesses and the services they provide.
- Provide and coordinate administrative support to the Centre, including word processing, answering phones, maintaining office filing systems processing invoices, preparing reports and keeping project share drive organised
