About the Role
This role sits within Learning & Teaching Innovation & Quality which is guided by our student-centered approach and empowers high-performing educators to deliver exceptional learning experiences.
The Senior Quality Officer supports the Manager, Quality Support in the achievement of all tasks regarding quality, compliance, and audit requirements. They will be accountable for general administrative support surrounding currency and competency requirements for VE staff, as well as providing reporting and analysis to the team and broader College on a range of matters.
To be successful in this position, the candidate will demonstrate the following:
* Previous experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement system implementation and administration preferably in a Tertiary sector.
* Coordinate and oversee processes to ensure correct procedures and industry currency are up to date in regard to Quality Assurance protocols.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
* High level oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to demonstrate flexibility and initiative, by working independently and with limited direction, as well as effectively within a small dynamic team environment.
* A demonstrated ability to use information and communication technologies effectively, including Microsoft Office software packages, web and email software and the use of databases.
Qualifications
A relevant qualification or experience in project support and a quality and compliance role.
A current Cert IV in Training & Assessment or progress towards it will be highly regarded.
