ABOUT RIVERINA MURRAY
Riverina Murray is one of the most diverse regions in NSW with a population of approximately 275,000. There are two Legal Aid Offices located in this region, Albury and Wagga Wagga.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Solicitor IV in Albury will be responsible for the provision of family law services to socially and economically disadvantaged people, including in more complex matters. The role will work remotely, providing outreach services within the Riverina Murray area and will work closely with local community legal centres.
This role does not have any direct reports however it will provide advice and support to the Wagga Wagga junior solicitors and administration team.
This role will work independently as a family law subject matter expert and will require regular travel to the Wagga Wagga Office.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced family law solicitor who:
• Has over 18 months family law post admission experience
• Excels working within a small team environment
• Thrives working independently with minimal direct supervision
• Has an ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Is friendly and approachable, and a strong communicator

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Admission or eligibility for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW
• Ability to provide a valid Practising Certificate upon commencement
• Willingness to undertake a Criminal Record Check and/or working with Children Check
• Hold Australian or NZ citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
• Australian Driver's Licence
Candidates with Independent Children's Lawyer (ICL) training will be highly regarded
