About You
As the Strategy Coordinator, you will work with an external focus on activities and initiatives developed for knowledge exchange, College events, reputation and marketing initiatives. The College of Business & Law has launched a strategy to enhance reputation and impact of the College in Australia and internationally as well showcasing distinctiveness of the College, it's teaching and research. You will play a supporting role in how we engage industry (including alumni), create thought leadership and foster knowledge exchange. The College is developing engagement initiatives that establish the College as an educator and partner of choice for Knowledge Exchange, future human achievement, and commercial, business, and justice leadership.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
* Experience in the planning, production and delivery of well managed events, both virtual and face-to-face.
* Demonstrated ability to work and embrace new media and digital technology to improve user experience and outcomes.
* Excellent communication skills and demonstrated passion for delivering creative and impactful events and engagement experiences.
* Proven understanding of best practice events planning, delivery and measurement that contribute to organisational objectives.
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate and deliver innovative engagement solutions that are aligned to strategies and enhance the College's reputation.
* Demonstrated experience in encouraging a workplace culture of high performance and promoting accountability for outcomes.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills including ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
About the College
The largest business school in the Asia Pacific region, the College of Business is comprised of seven schools – six in Melbourne and one in Vietnam – delivering Business programs ranging from certificates to PhDs. Many programs articulate between vocational education and higher education, creating pathways for further study. RMIT Business programs are delivered in Melbourne, Vietnam, Singapore and Shanghai, as well as through Open Universities Australia (OUA) and RMIT Online. The College assists in achieving the ambitions of RMIT's strategic plan Ready for Life and Work by making active contributions towards lifechanging experiences for students, creating passion with purpose for its staff and shaping the world with impactful research and global reach.
