Salary: $88,171 – $95,444 p.a. plus 17% superannuation
About University Services
University Services comprises of 1,600 professional staff focused on providing client centric and innovative services to the University. The group is providing transformational change, defining and influencing future service enhancements within the University of Melbourne. The Team Leader, Indigenous Student Success is a member of the Murrup Barak Team which sits within the Academic Services portfolio.
About the role
The Team Leader will lead the provision of Indigenous student success programs that enables enrolled Indigenous Australian students to effectively engage and thrive in their educational experience with the University of Melbourne.
About you
– Completion of a degree with substantial relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
– A demonstrated knowledge and sound understanding of Indigenous societies and cultures and the issues affecting these societies as they relate to education and ability to communicate effectively with Indigenous people
– Demonstrated strong leadership, teamwork skills & capabilities in building effective relationships with a variety of clients
– High level coordination, task management and contingency planning skills
