About You
As WIL Operations Officer, you will provide excellent customer service support to our internal and external stakeholders, including patients, students and staff within the RMIT Health clinic, being the first port of call at reception for all client queries.
The role supports the administrative team in running daily operations of the clinic and maintaining compliant processes in line with all University and health service policies and procedures. In addition, you will also assist in compliance checking for the WIL team and provide administrative support for the Engagement team.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills are required for this position. In addition, your empathy and can-do attitude, along with the ability to establish connections, will be critical to your success in this vital function. Experience in the health industry is a plus.
Potential weekend work and evening shifts are an essential component of this position to meet the demands of the clinic opening hours, which are outside of the standard University hours of operation.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
* Experience in customer service and data checking, preferably in the health sectorExcellent writte and verbal communication, including the ability to communicate effectively with audiences from a range of cultural backgrounds.
* Ability to interpret and apply complex rules and handle confidential issues with sensitivity
* Cability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
* Ability to identify and pursuing opportuities to improve existing practices and services.
* High proficiency in computer software packages with effectiveness, accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to learn new technical skills.
