About the Opportunity
RivMed has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager – Family Services (Aboriginal Identified) to oversee the Family Health Services programs based in Wagga Wagga, NSW on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this rewarding role requires you to provide high-level strategic and operational leadership for the Family Health Services programs including the Family Health Team, Intensive Family Based Services, Out of Home Care, and Family Functional Therapy-Child Welfare teams.

RivMed is seeking a committed and driven Manager (Aboriginal Identified*) with previous experience leading, motivating, and developing staff, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and demonstrated experience working in Aboriginal Health and/or Community Services.

To succeed in this position, you will have a tertiary qualification in community services, social work, relevant health discipline, or equivalent. Candidates with previous experience leading a multi-disciplinary team will be highly regarded. Candidates will be required to undertake some travel within the state.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a demonstrated commitment to improving the lives of Aboriginal children and families and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders will be pivotal to your success in this role. Candidates with previous FACS experience and relevant NGO experience will also be highly regarded.
