Church Agencies Network Disaster Operations (CAN DO) is a Consortium of eight Australian based humanitarian church agencies that exists to build the resilience of communities, to strengthen the capacity of partners, and to enhance agencies’ effectiveness in responding to disasters, especially in the Pacific.
The Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (DMEL) Coordinator is an exciting new role within the CAN DO Coordination Unit, hosted by Caritas Australia, the Consortium lead agency. Based in Sydney with work-related travel, the primarily responsibility is to facilitate the coordination of all the design, monitoring, evaluation and learning practices of the Consortium’s disaster response and capacity development program to maximize their disaster response capacity, effectiveness and coordination.
