ABOUT LEGAL AID NSW
Legal Aid NSW is the largest legal aid agency in Australia, comprising of a Central Sydney office and 22 regional offices in metropolitan and regional centres across NSW and a number of specialist services and advice clinics. ABOUT THE ROLE
Supervise, lead, guide, develop, train and monitor a team of Grants Officers in the delivery of high quality, client-focused services in accordance with Legal Aid NSW policy and budget requirements.
Assess, administer and determine applications / extensions for grants of legal aid across a range of matters in family, civil and criminal law, within policy, guidelines and delegations.
Contribute to the development of systems and practices for grants of legal aid, and manage the development and allocation of services and budgets for the work of the team based on operational experience and contacts with applicants and stakeholders.
ABOUT YOU
In this role you will supervise a team of Grants Officers in a high volume workload environment. We are seeking staff with clear communication skills who can respond quickly to customer needs.

The selection process will include a range of comparative assessment techniques to assist in determining capability and suitability for the role.
This recruitment will be used to fill any current vacancies and may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future vacancies that may arise over the next 12 months.
