About the Role
This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for you to make a change in Young People’s lives. Working directly with Young People and Adolescents in Out of Home Care, this position is based in a Residential Setting on 24/7 fortnightly rotating shift rosters.

You will be a part of the Young People’s day to day care and supervision, providing transport and mentoring them through activities in daily living. You will be actively supporting their individual needs and creating a safe environment for Young People in LWBs care. You will also be part of developing, implementing and monitoring their individual plans. This includes the maintenance of progress note keeping and report writing.

Working in a team, you will facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with service users in a positive and proactive environment.

This role will be based in Orange NSW with Active Nights.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • Certificate IV in Community Services, Youth Work or similar
  • A current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • A current unrestricted Driver Licence
  • Ability to work various shifts (sleepover & active nights) throughout the week
  • Prior knowledge and/or experience working with young people
