The Centre for Youth Mental Health is a faculty unit within the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (MDHS), where academic and professional staff of are based. The Web Applications Developer is a role within the Research Division of Orygen.
The University of Melbourne has an agreement with Orygen for designated employees to be made available to undertake activities for Orygen, and this arrangement will apply to you. University employees working at Orygen are required at all times to continue to adhere to University policies, procedures, regulations and statutes, as well as to Orygen policies and procedures (including Orygen’s delegations of authority framework which can be found at http://staff.orygen.org.au/), but the University’s policies and procedures shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency. For the period of participating in activities at Orygen, you will be subject to the reasonable control and direction of Orygen. The successful applicant will participate in the development and maintenance of web-based data management systems, which are built using the .Net platform. A significant part of the role is to design and build the front-end for applications that are to capture and manage research-related data. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are required as it is necessary to have frequent discussion with users regarding their needs for the web-based applications.
The Web Applications Developer will report to the Senior Web Applications Developer and the Coordinator of the Statistics Unit.
