ABOUT LEGAL AID NSW
Legal Aid NSW is the largest legal aid agency in Australia, comprising of a Central Sydney office and 23 regional offices in metropolitan and regional centres across NSW and a number of specialist services and advice clinics. Working at Legal Aid NSW provides the opportunity to support people with disabilities, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, women and children, Indigenous people and people with mental illness who may experience difficulties when enforcing and defending their rights.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work in the Planning and Review Unit, managing projects and providing advice on strategic and operational planning for Legal Aid NSW, including reporting against these plans; progressing the equity and diversity functions for the organisation; coordinating and advising on Legal Aid NSW’s evaluation and review functions; and progressing collaborative service planning and reporting under the National Partnership Agreement on Legal Assistance Services 2015-20 (“NPA”).
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience in policy, projects and/or planning and evaluation work; and you should have an interest in diversity and inclusion. You will be able to manage a high workload with often competing deadlines; and will have excellent stakeholder skills. You will be able to take initiative, and work with minimal supervision
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Willingness to undertake a Criminal Record Check and/or working with Children Check
• Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Resident or hold a valid working visa
