About the role:

• Support the implementation and management of our Food Safety Program, ensuring compliance with all acts and legislation;
• Provide exceptional customer service to all Defence Force Members, including responding to enquiries and feedback within service delivery times;
• Coordinate and lead team to ensure success of functions, meal and bar services;
• Provide coaching, support and leadership to direct reports; 
• Prepare and provide end of month reporting in line with our reporting requirements;
• Support day to day administrative tasks within Hospitality & Catering and Domestic Services contracts to achieve contract outcomes; and
• Promote and encourage succession planning.  

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated ability in leading a team with more than 20 team members;
• Knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant acts and legislation (desirable);
• Knowledge or understanding of Defence Force operations, systems and functions (desirable);
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (desirable); and
• Must be Australian Citizen to be eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
