We’re seeking candidates who have a distinct worldview, are passionate about Australia’s role in global affairs, have a high degree of resilience and thrive in responding to a challenge. We want people who are committed to promoting Australia’s national interests and who want to make a difference. We encourage diverse academic backgrounds, while also seeking graduates with some specific qualifications, including economics, foreign policy, and international development.

You will have a strong record of academic achievement with at least a credit average, as well as extra-curricular interests. You may have work experience, paid or unpaid, from any background, but have a genuine interest in Australia’s foreign, development and trade policy interests, including in the international and domestic policy contexts.
