This is a rare and exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced executive with prominent standing in their domain, to drive long-term sustainability and public value of Australian arts and creativity through influential strategic partnerships and sector development.
The Australia Council for the Arts is the Australian Government's principal arts funding and advisory body. We champion and invest in Australian arts and creativity. We are committed to ensuring all Australians can enjoy the benefits of arts and creativity and be part of the cultural life of our nation.
As the Australia Council's Executive Director, Development and Strategic Partnerships you will play a leading role in advancing the Australia Council's sector development strategy and provide oversight of robust and impactful research, to increase understanding and advance priorities. You will improve the long-term sustainability of the arts and creative sector through industry partnerships, including all levels of government, commercial partners, NGOs, and social ventures.
In this role, you will stimulate a robust and inclusive national agenda, cultivate strategic partnerships and networks nationally and internationally, and represent Council in public industry forums. You will be driven to achieving the Australia Council's strategic objectives as a key contributor and member of the executive.
