About You
The Project Coordinator provides support for the PSI Capability team, working across multiple projects and the Impact Ecosystem that will shape the future of the portfolio's agenda. You will be part of a supportive, collaborative team which works closely with stakeholders across the portfolio and institution to solve complex problems and explore areas for growth to drive innovation and impact. The Project Coordinator provides administrative support, including engagement activities and managing team and project documentation. Your excellent planning and organisational capabilities, and effective communication skills will see you thrive in the role.
To be successful in this position, you'll have as a minimum:
* Ability to work across multiple projects in a complex and fast-paced work environment.
* Experience organising workshops and/or events.
* Expe
rt in the use of Microsoft Office programs particularly PowerPoint.
* An enthusiastic collaborator who can work in and across diverse teams.
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organisational skills able to prioritise work, meet deadlines and respond flexibly to rapidly changing priorities
* Innovative and willing to suggest and make improvements to our processes.
About the Portfolio
The Policy, Strategy and Impact (PSI) Portfolio provides focus and momentum for the projects and priorities that were identified in Ready for Life and Work: RMIT's Strategic Plan, developed in 2015. PSI works to support and advance the implementation of RMIT's strategic priorities, including through public policy and government relations, strategy projects, innovative partnerships and capability development. PSI includes diverse teams such as the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, the Ngarara Willim Centre, the Australian APEC Study Centre, the Future So
cial Service Institute, the Health Transformation Lab and the Centre for Innovative Justice. The portfolio works as a network of collaborative and inclusive teams, working to develop and extend an 'impact ecosystem' of relationships and partnerships across and beyond the university PSI teams provide a distinctive set of evidence-driven, innovation, public policy and community engagement expertise.
