About the role
The Associate Director, Programs & Delivery will be responsible for the provision of high-level advice and executive support to the College of VE Programs & Delivery areas. This will include providing strategic advice on specific initiatives, supporting the achievement of the portfolio's strategic and annual operating plans with a specific focus on academic and teaching program support. The role will have oversight of workforce planning activities, the academic lifecycle and will support the VE LT on operationalising key activities that align to the academic calendar.
The role will liaise and consult with Senior Leaders across the College to provide feedback, progress and reports on Portfolio developments and projects for key meetings and key activities within the portfolio. This may include collating, data analysis and developing papers and responses to both internal and external audiences. The role will be required to debrief with the General Manager, College Operations and the Executives on any follow up actions arising from meetings and committees as required.
About You
To be successful in this position, you'll be required to have the following:
* Extensive experience in providing high-level analytical and operational support at Senior Leader or Executive level.
* Experience working in a Vocational Education setting, including working to support and operationalise apprenticeship and traineeship processes and procedures
* Experience in a position requiring strong influencing, interpersonal and negotiation skills at senior levels to achieve desired outcomes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience in developing presentations, reports and speaking and briefing notes to a high standard.
* Well developed organizational, analytical and future oriented approach with evidence of managing complex issues.
* The ability to work with minimal guidance, in a collaborative team environment and with a strong understanding of matrix structures.
* High level of professionalism, discretion and diplomacy to effectively deal with sensitive and difficult issues.
* Highly motivated and pro-active with a proven track record of successful financial management, change management, quality management and project management.
