About You
As the Personal Assistant, Property Services Team, you will provide high quality support to the DFAM and Property Services Senior Leadership Team (SLT). While you will have primary responsibility for supporting a specific Director, you will also provide support to the wider Property Services SLT. You will also be involved with the RMIT Critical Incident Management Team and associated meetings, planning and resourcing.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

* Experience providing high-level, confidential secretarial and executive support to a senior manager or equivalent in a large and complex organisation.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and strong customer service skills.
* Ability to organise and prioritise work and complete projects/tasks to tight timelines.
* High level computer skills, including spreadsheets, databases and the Microsoft Office, with an ability to draft and format written documents and proof read all work.
* Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
* Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise work for self and senior management in an environment with multiple and conflicting demands, including handling sensitive matters.
* Demonstrated evidence of a strong customer focus.
* A high level of initiative and the ability to work with limited direction. The ability to work effectively within a team environment is also critical to this role.
* Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities paying attention to detail.

About the Group
Property Services is located in the Resources portfolio which is the service nucleus of RMIT and the focus for the development of the finance, people development infrastructure and systems that provide administrative capacity to the university. Property Services has approximately 120 staff and has the responsibility to operate, maintain and enhance the buildings owned and leased by RMIT University, oversee construction projects and ensure the provision of physical Facilities services. The group has an operating budget of over $40M, and prospective capital projects over $100m per annum for the next few years in Melbourne and Vietnam. RMIT's built environment involves approximately 110 buildings in Melbourne spread across all of RMIT's campuses and sites.
