About the role
The M365 Senior Platform Expert is responsible for leading the technical specialists responsible for realising ongoing value from RMIT's M365 investment by continuing to boost user engagement and drive adoption.
You will lead a high performing team, focussed on providing exemplary customer service, placing customers first and students at the centre, effectively supporting and delivering a range of M365 technologies within ITS and the wider RMIT community. You will assist in setting the team priorities and manage workload and resourcing during peak periods.
As the M365 Senior Platform Expert you will oversee the introduction of new capability (technology) and implement efficient processes and structures to provide an effective and valued service to end users. You will own and develop the M365 Roadmap, including progress against the roadmap to key RMIT stakeholders
RMIT has a Global presence, as such this role will require being part of a 24×7 On Call Roster, which will involve working with Technical Engineers across other teams supporting different platforms of the University's vast infrastructure.

Showcase exceptional customer service focus combined with an ability to work under pressure in a complex technical environment
Technically, you will have significant knowledge and expertise across Microsoft 365 services like Exchange Online, SharePoint online, OneDrive for Business, Security and Compliance Centre, Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Teams.
You will have previous involvement developing SharePoint Server Farms, Web Application, Site Collection and Sites. As well as experience configuring Azure AD Connect, especially In Multi Forest Setup.
