* Based within the Melbourne CBD Campus and Online
* Casual, part time hours available commencing February 2022.

About You
As a Casual Sessional within EFM, you will be mainly responsible for the delivery of course material, assessing students and the supervision of students enrolled in selected courses within the School. You will participate in the School's continuing review of course content and development, delivery, teaching methods (including on-line delivery methods) and methods of students' assessment. You will interact with students, RMIT teaching and administration staff. Your performance will be underpinned by participation in relevant activities which ensure your teaching competence meets and/or exceeds the education level being delivered and assessed.

We are seeking an expression of interest for casual tutors, assessment marks and research assistants within one (or more) of our core disciplines of Economics, Finance, Marketing and Blockchain. Please find below details on each core discipline.

Finance
The courses offered by the Finance Discipline offer the opportunity to complete a professional, highly focused applied qualification. Some of the key areas where we focus our teaching which will give you an opportunity to join our team include the following; investment; risk management and derivatives; financial management; corporate finance; international finance, financial markets including bonds and equity markets and portfolio and funds management.

With our applied approach to teaching, we are also seeking experienced applicants who have skills to undertake our quantitative focused finance courses in the RMIT Trading Room which uses market data in trading simulations and workshops for multi-asset portfolio and risk analysis, hedging, money market, and foreign exchange instruments trading, all of which are conducted at real-time market rates. Join us in our innovative approach to education and training of Finance graduates with' real-world' skills

Marketing
The Marketing Discipline seeks new and experienced tutors to teach across a broad range of marketing subjects including, but not limited, to marketing principles, consumer behaviour, market research, marketing communications, digital marketing, branding, product innovation, service marketing, social marketing, and strategic marketing.

As a tutor in the Marketing Discipline you will contribute to our focus on applied learning and industry embedded education. You will be empathetic, approachable and understanding to students learning requirements. With your professional aptitude, you will be comfortable preparing and delivering a range of learning material via online and face-to-face platforms. As a passionate marketer, you will demonstrate a wealth of knowledge from industry and deliver quality learning material to ensure positive experiences to your students.

Economics
The Economics team is seeking experienced tutors to assist with introductory economics subjects at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. In addition, teaching experience in the areas of digital disruption/innovation (particularly blockchain), the different economics schools of thought, behavioural economics as well as traditional macro/microeconomics is also highly sought after.

Blockchain
Blockchain is an interdisciplinary team of academics in economics, political-economy, organisational theory, law, sociology, politics and communications. We work on crypto-economics, business strategy and adaptation to blockchain technologies, mapping the blockchain economy, and identifying the public policy challenges that will hold back or accelerate this economic revolution and are looking for people who can assist us in teaching in these areas
