Assessment Officer – First Nations

Your role
You will leverage your professional knowledge and insights in First Nations culture to strengthen relationships with First Nations stakeholders to increase participation on the assessment of Council's investment opportunities.

What will you be doing?

  • Focusing on supporting the recruitment and engagement process of First Nations assessors and industry advisors assessing investment programs
  • Engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders to address opportunities and challenges with increasing First Nations representation
  • Championing First Nations protocols when delivering inductions and supporting assessors and advisors
  • Organising assessment panels and review groups with relevant skills and experiences to evaluate investment programs
  • Ensuring panels reflect diversity in artistic practices, roles, and representation
  • Providing advice on the Council's Application Management System
