Now the election is over and we still don’t know the outcome as far as which parties will form the government. So it is time to “nurture justice” in our own thinking about how we “do politics”. How do we understand the nature and limits of party discipline, conscience votes, the representative’s loyalty to electors as well as the elector’s ongoing trust in our political system. How indeed can Christian people contribute as citizens to this polity to ensure that Government proceeds along the way of Shalom?
