RivMed has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager – Family Services (Aboriginal Identified) to oversee the Family Health Services programs based in Wagga Wagga, NSW on a full-time basis.

To succeed in this position, you will have a tertiary qualification in community services, social work, relevant health discipline, or equivalent. Candidates with previous experience leading a multi-disciplinary team will be highly regarded. Candidates will be required to undertake some travel within the state.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a demonstrated commitment to improving the lives of Aboriginal children and families and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders will be pivotal to your success in this role. Candidates with previous FACS experience and relevant NGO experience will also be highly regarded.

The Role: Mechanical Leading Hands

Reporting to the Mechanical Process Engineer we have a need for full time Mechanical Leading Hands based at our underground coal mine, located in Narrabri NSW. We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Leading Hands for three positions, one to support each the Longwall, Development and Outbye teams. In this role your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following;

  • Ensure maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with OEM specifications, relevant standards and regulatory guidelines,
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimum plant performance,
  • Support shift management teams to respond to unplanned breakdowns and significant delays,
  • Assist in shutdowns to ensure quality maintenance activities in a safe manner with minimal production impact,
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are safe, organised, timely and cost effective,
  • Maintain a high level of workplace health, safety, and environmental awareness and comply with all company policies and procedures,
  • Maintain a safe workplace at all times and encourage others to do so by assisting in daily, weekly and monthly audits/inspections,
  • Provide mentoring and supervision of other tradesmen assisting in tasks and providing regular feedback on performance and ongoing development,

The Role

Qualifications, Skills and experience

Essential Requirements

About the Opportunity
Armajun Aboriginal Health Services now has multiple full-time roles available for experienced Drug and Alcohol Caseworkers (identified positions) and a passionate Drug and Alcohol Coordinator to work across their Tenterfield, Inverell, and Glen Innes office hubs.

As a Drug and Alcohol Caseworker, you will be responsible for providing and supporting access to a range of drug and alcohol services in the community, both on an outreach basis and from the Hub location. You will also provide support to a dedicated team of AOD caseworkers to ensure services are being provided and implemented in line with the organisational framework.

To be successful in this role you will hold a tertiary qualification in a health or welfare discipline and be eligible for membership or registration with an appropriate professional body. You will also have demonstrated experience in staff supervision, support, and training. Candidates with previous experience working in rural primary health care in an Aboriginal community will be highly regarded.

This role requires an individual who is a passionate and enthusiastic leader and who displays a strong understanding of service planning within a multidisciplinary health service delivery model.

Malabam Health Board Aboriginal Corporation (MHBAC) is an incorporated community controlled Aboriginal organisation that provides primary health care services and programs to the Maningrida region. MHBAC provides funding to the Maningrida health clinic and the Mala'la Flexible Aged Care Centre, alongside providing the "GREAT" Youth Services program and the Social and Emotional Wellbeing program to the community.

About the Opportunity 
MHBAC has a unique opportunity for an experienced Manager of the Youth Services Program to join their dedicated team in Maningrida, NT, on a full-time basis. This role requires flexibility around working hours dependent on Centre hours, including hours on evenings and every second weekend.

Reporting to the CEO, this autonomous role will see you supervising and managing all staff employed within the Youth Services Program, with the goal of enhancing the wellbeing of young people within the community.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing program coordination and service delivery;
* Sourcing funding opportunities;
* Facilitating and promoting community engagement;
* Monitoring budget allocation/expenditure, and reporting against key performance and funding indicators; and
* Providing opportunities for staff professional development; and
* Overseeing continuous quality improvement and risk assessment.

The successful candidate will hold appropriate tertiary qualifications in Youth Work, Community Services or Community Development, as well as experience in the management of programs within the Youth Services area. Experience within an Aboriginal community context will be highly regarded, as this will enable you to build on current program deliverables and outcomes.
